We arrived Friday for the Rehearsal Dinner at Acme Oyster House in the French Quarter.
Best friends since birth! Michael, me and Christopher
LOVED seeing my brother, Jeff, and his girlfriend, Katie! Why can't we all just be roomies??
After the Rehearsal, we all went out on Bourbon (of course!).
Hand grenades with the bride!
The next day we all went exploring in the Garden District before it was time to get ready for the wedding. We had a heavily fried lunch at Parasol's - complete with Bloody Mary's and beer.
The wedding and reception were both held at The Rose Garden outside of New Orleans on Saturday night. Michael and Maggie both looked gorgeous and we all had so much fun!
Look how pretty my Flower Girl looked!
Such a beautiful bride!
Aunt Kathy looked beautiful!
Post-wedding, we all took a Trolley back down to Bourbon Street to celebrate with the newlyweds. Michael is in the Coast Guard and just recently found out he's being stationed in Cordova, Alaska - so this was kind of their last hoorah in Nola before they leave in mid-July. They certainly went out with a bang - Maggie said her alarm to get up for their flight to Jamaica went off as they were getting into a cab on Bourbon Street. My kinda girl!
Just call him Tanner.
Michael and Maggie - we love you and cannot wait to come visit you in Alaska! Congratulations!
By the way, I flew into Nola straight from Florida - where we had Taste of the Nation Palm Beach on that Thursday (June 20). Do I ever stop?
