Out-of-Towners

I love my family. And I love it even more when out-of-town family comes to play!

My brother, Jeff, is a corporate pilot at XOJet, and is constantly all over the place. The good and bad part about his job is that he never really knows where he's headed until he gets to the airport. The best part is that he happened to be flying into Atlanta on Friday afternoon! We were able to grab dinner with him on Friday night, and visit with him briefly on Saturday morning before he headed back to the airport and off to who knows where. Even though his visit was short, I love getting to see him every chance I can.

The even better part is that Adam's cousin, Amy, was also in town this weekend! (Clearly, she came in town to celebrate our anniversary.) So after seeing Jefe off, I met up with Debbie, Kelsey, Meagan and Amy at the Marietta Square. We had such a fun afternoon of chatting and laughing. And of course, eating cupcakes!

I think the most fun stop we made was Eddie's Trick Shop. It's basically just a really fun costume store, that happens to sell wigs.

I managed to embarrass myself (shocking, right?) when I decided it would be a good idea to try on these doughnut handcuffs...

...and they got stuck. It took three employees and a lot of laughs before we finally managed to un-jam the lock. (The guy in the background of this picture who is laughing at me was no help.)

It was such a super-fun day, and I'm so glad I got to spend it with some of my favorite in- and out-of-towners!
